Mary Singleton was angry when she picked up her daughter from school late last month. Her daughter’s body was limp and she was very sick. The 4-year-old daughter was admitted to the intensive care unit for two days.
The parents claimed the school notified them of their daughter’s illness two minutes before school closed. Mary said her daughter was limp and almost unresponsive in the nurse’s office.

“She was slobbering at the mouth, she was heavy, and the teacher handed her to me, saying we probably needed to take her to the ER,” Mary told Fox 10.
Doctors found the young child had consumed a significant amount of ethanol, according to the family.
The girl’s parents forwarded the toxicology report to Fox10, confirming that the girl’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.29.
It is unclear how the youngster swallowed the ethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol, and where she obtained it. According to the girl’s parents, their daughter was discharged from the hospital after two days in ICU.

They demand answers because they’re frustrated.
Albert Singleton, the child’s father, said, “It’s hard to deal with when you see your child walking into school and being carried out, you know, and you don’t have any idea what’s going on.”
While investigating the incident, Prichard police said they may refer the case to the Child Advocacy Center.
Meanwhile, the girl’s relatives reported that she was doing better after a doctor’s consultation. She won’t be going back to school for the rest of the year, they added.
