Fatma Samoura
Fatma Samoura is the first female Secretary General of FIFA. Before her appointment, she worked as a diplomat and in various senior executive positions. Forbes in 2018 ranked her as the most powerful woman in spots and was also listed by the BBC as one of their 100 women.
As FIFA’s general secretary, she is responsible for implementing council decisions and taking care of the organization’s finances. She also runs the body’s international relations, the organization of the World Cup, and other competitions.
