A Georgia father of three lost his life in his wife’s arms after he suffered a heart attack while confronting two armed men attempting to steal his truck outside their Atlanta home.
Atlanta Police revealed that 48-year-old Javon Brown had just woken up for work around 4:30 a.m. on Friday when he heard a noise around, only to realize the two cowards were trying to steal his truck.
Brown chose to grab his firearm to scare off the intruders, but it eventually led to his unexpected demise.

Speaking in an interview with WAGA-TV, his wife, Tasha Brown, recounted the terrifying moments that led to his passing.
“He came out the front door and stood there, just yelling down the driveway, ‘Get off of his property,’” she said. “They started shooting. I have three small children at home. All of their bedrooms are facing this way. So, I was trying to hustle them to safety, worried about whether he had been hit.”
Witnesses revealed they heard as many as nine shots, but according to reports, Brown was not struck by any of them as the attackers quickly fled the scene.
Moments later, Tasha said her husband collapsed after he got back inside their home. “He was able to speak. He was not hit,” she said.
“But then he went into cardiac arrest over the shock. He dropped down. I did CPR, I called 911 until I couldn’t feel my arms and hands. But it wasn’t enough.”

Police say emergency responders pronounced the Georgia father dead inside his doorway, and the two suspects remain at large as Atlanta homicide investigators work the case in partnership with the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Tasha Brown could not hide her emotions and expressed her anguish over the tragedy that could have been prevented.
“You work so hard. You do the right thing. You take care of your home and family, and someone feels entitled to come and try to take it from you,” she said.
Brown’s passing is a big blow for his family, yet they will be hoping authorities find the two armed thugs whose actions led to the unfortunate tragedy and bring them to justice.
