The Barbados native overcame hardships including an abusive addict father and the heartbreaking assault by Chris Brown. The 32-year-old has, so far, amassed millions of loyal fans through her career while delving into other businesses, successfully launching her Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty lingerie brands within the space of three years.
Fenty, which was founded in September 2017, generated an estimated $570 million in revenue in 2018. Last December, the Barbadian superstar appeared on Forbes’ 100 Most Powerful Women list for 2019 for the first time.
