The Real Mas Carnival – Dominica
Dominica’s most popular Carnival is the Real Mas or Mas Dominica which is known as the most original Carnival. The festival celebrates the multicultural Dominican country while also highlighting unique practices from the African and French culture that is still practised in modern times. The festival has been noted to end racism and bring people together while preserving the original cultures of the people. The Carnival is marked by a parade, music and food festival and plenty of drumming and dancing.
