Barbados is gearing towards electing a new Prime Minister. Currently, Fruendel Jerome Stuart QC MP holds the position of PM of Barbados. He succeeded David Thompson, who died of pancreatic cancer on October 23, 2010. May 2018 marks the date of the next round of elections for Prime Minister of Barbados.
