Spice Basket Heritage and Cricket Museum – Grenada

Looking for a museum with a different twist? Grenada’s Spice Basket Heritage and Cricket Museum is just the place for a lover of history with an urge for a fuller experience and activities. The museum is home to the only museum in the world dedicated to West Indies Cricket with an in-depth history and monuments from teams and players. Aside from that, the museum also offers a tour that presents the geology of the island to Amerindian artefacts, the Sugar revolution, Slavery and the genesis of the game of cricket on the plantations. The Museum also has a theatre that holds musical and theatrical performances that give a live glimpse into the country’s history and culture. Visitors can lodge in the museum’s hotel and enjoy strict Grenadian food and beverages.
