During the fight for black emancipation and freedom from slavery and the oppression of white masters, many names and figures rose up to light the torch of leadership.

A few others, nonetheless, believed in the Pan-African struggle and pushed frontiers to help unite the black race and ensure the black continent is also free of oppression.

As radical as many of these people were, some of them decided to relocate to Africa. In this list, we show you which legendary American Pan-Africanists were buried somewhere in Africa for their love of the continent.
