Coming as no major surprise, Aliko Dangote has claimed the number one spot of Africa’s richest man after appearing on Forbes’ list of billionaires in the world, Africa, and ranked 23rd  of the richest people in the world in 2014 to name a few accolades.

Dangote is the founder, owner, and chairman of the Dangote Group, and owns stakes in the sugar, salt, steel, oil, gas, and flour businesses.

Dangote shares that as a youngster he was so enamored with the business sector that he would buy candy, sell it to other children earning him profits at a tender age.
