Chris Lighty
Veteran music manager Chris Lighty, best known for his representation of stars such as 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Diddy, Ja Rule and Mariah Carey, allegedly killed himself behind his Bronx apartment after a heated argument with his estranged wife in 2012. He was 44.
His wife Veronica Lighty said that the couple’s financial problems may have been a factor. However, friends and family close to Lighty insist that he would not have committed suicide.
Lighty’s family, along with some of his high profile clients, like 50 Cent, are bankrolling a private investigation into his death.
