Michael Vick
Vick played 13 seasons as an NFL quarterback with the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, and finally, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Atlanta Falcons quarterback was sentenced to two years in prison at the peak of his career in 2007 for running a dogfighting operation which killed a number of Pitbulls.
Dogs that do not perform up to expectations were killed by electrocution, hanging, drowning and other violent means, court documents revealed. (He’d not only been the money man, but also promotion and facilitating the sport, which pits dogs against one another in fights to the death.)
Needless to say, Vick’s football career never recovered, nor did his reputation.
