Corinthia Hotel
Run by the Maltese Corinthia Hotels International, this luxurious building stands at the centre of Tripoli, Libya, and was constructed at a cost of $152 million. Originally known as the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel, the five-star skyscraper was opened in 2003 and has since been considered the most expensive luxury hotel in Africa. The building towers 100.48 metres above the ground and has 28 floors.
