Rapper and actor A$AP Rocky is enjoying fatherhood, and he recently revealed that he had a completely different attitude before he became a family man.

Rocky, 37, shares two sons and a daughter with billionaire singer and businesswoman, Rihanna, 37.

During an interview with W Magazine, the Highest 2 Lowest star admitted that he had become “more emotional” since he became a father

“I am way more emotional,” Rocky said when he was asked if that was the case. “Before the kids, I was probably cold-hearted. But now I’m a loving kind of fella. I’ve got a lot of love to give to the world.”

Rocky and Rihanna welcomed their third child, a daughter named Rocki Irish, in September 2025. When he was asked what was going to happen if someone tried to date his daughter, Rocky said, “I’m going to pray for them.”

This isn’t the first time Rocky has spoken about fatherhood. In a previous interview with Perfect Magazine, Rocky touched on how he juggles career and fatherhood, emphasizing that he gains happiness from performing his duties as a “father and a partner and a loving husband.”

The 37-year-old spoke about his family when he was asked about the moments when he “experiences the greatest satisfaction and happiness.”

“I think peace really makes me happy,” the Praise the Lord (Da Shine) rapper added.

“Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy. I hope this doesn’t sound cliché, and I would hate if it does, because that’s what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan. It doesn’t matter what hat I wear that day, it’s just about being able to give it my all and do these things.”
