Singer Chloe Bailey fired back at an internet troll who made a negative comment about her weight while she was on livestream on Instagram.
Per Complex, Bailey, 27, was livestreaming inside her home on Friday, January 2, when the troll made the comment about her weight. The troll, on her livestream, wrote that the Trouble in Paradise singer was “getting big.”
But Bailey brushed off the comment after she saw it. “And even if I was getting big, and? What about it?” the 27-year-old questioned. “Why you talking about my body? What [does] your body look like?”
On a lighter note, Bailey asked the troll to send a picture to enable her to “judge.” Bailey was fixing a piece of furniture while she was addressing the troll. She also stated that the troll’s actions were a “rage bait” attempt.
“Because I know my body tea,” the 27-year-old added. “And I don’t even say that often, but the stress got my waist snatched.”
This isn’t the first time Bailey has been targeted online because of her curvy shape, Complex reported. During a 2023 appearance on rapper Latto‘s former 777 Radio show, she stated that her “weight fluctuates constantly.”
“I think sometimes I have body dysmorphia because there’ll be times I look and I’ll feel way bigger than I was,” the singer said at the time. “And I look back at pictures, I’m like, Chloe, you were snatched. Even right now, I gained a couple pounds and I’m like, It looks good on me, instead of beating myself up about it, because I will.”
