April 14

 April 14, 1775 – The first abolitionist society in the U.S. was founded in Philadelphia.

April 14, 1906 – Two innocent Blacks, Horace Duncan and Fred Coker (aka Jim Copeland), were abducted from the county jail by a white mob and lynched in Springfield, Missouri.
