Conservative author and pro-Trump activist Candace Owens is accusing employees at Amazon of damaging copies of her new book, Blackout: How Black America Can Make Its Second Escape from the Democrat Plantation, before mailing them out.

In a Twitter post on Saturday calling out the online retail giant, the political commentator alleged she received messages from several people who had ordered her book complaining their copies had been “stomped” on. The 31-year-old shared two photos of her books she alleged had been defaced.

“Dear @amazon. About 1,000 people have written to let me know that your employees appear to be stomping on and in this case, smearing Vaseline on my books before mailing them,” she shared. “I know it must have pained you to ship out all 90,000 copies you had in stock— but this is unacceptable.”

In a follow-up tweet, Owens told the company to handle her subsequent deliveries with care. “The pettiness will do nothing to thwart sales,” she said. “Let’s try to get the next 100,000 that I plan to sell out of your warehouse, treated with a bit more respect by the looney lefties packing the product, please.”

Owens isn’t the type to shy away from controversies and she is notoriously known for using social media to taunt people she disagrees with – albeit usually unsuccessful. After an unidentified gunman opened fire on two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies unprovoked, the right-wing commentator called out basketball star Lebron James and accused him of being an enabler.

“Why does this happen? Because pea-brained celebrities that are idolized like @KingJames tell young black men that they are ‘literally being hunted’. This is the natural result of such hyperbolic, dishonest rhetoric,” she tweeted on September 13. “The racist, anti-police, black lives matter LIE is to blame.”

Her ‘literally being hunted’ quote was in reference to a tweet the Lakers star shared in May in response to the death of Ahmaud Arbery.

“We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes!,” James said. “Can’t even go for a damn jog man! Like WTF man are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!? No man fr ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I’m sorry Ahmaud (Rest In Paradise) and my prayers and blessings sent to the heavens above to your family!! #StayWoke #ProfiledCauseWeAreSimplyBlack.”

She also recently reignited her Twitter feud with Cardi B after the rapper interviewed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
