Loni Love, a comedian, actress and author and widely known for being a co-host on syndicated show The Real has just copped a lucrative deal with Warner Brothers Television subsidiary, Telepictures. The deal includes Love developing a scripted television series based on her own personality as a “larger-than-life persona as a thriving single woman.”
Love confirmed by stating, “I am thrilled to be developing a comedy with Warner Bros. as I continue to co-host The Real,” “My life’s work is all about entertaining, inspiring and helping people become the best they can be.
The Real has just been greenlighted to air for two more seasons.
The former electrical engineer from the Brewster-Douglass Housing Projects in Detroit, Michigan began her career in 2004 after leaving a position at Xerox to prevent another employee from being laid off.
Love has appeared in the movies Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Bad Asses on the Bayou and Mother’s Day.
