Sam Gyimah

Sam Gyimah was born to Ghanaian parents in the UK but after his parents split, Gyimah had to live with his mother and school in Ghana. In the early 1990s, however, he returned to the UK.

Gyimah became a Conservative legislator in 2010 and became the Minister of Universities, Science, Research and innovation in the Theresa May-government.

Presently, he is a member of the Liberal Democrats arguing for Britain to stay in the European Union, despite the Brexit referendum.
