Asisat Oshoala, 24

Asisat Oshoala was named BBC’s Woman Footballer of the Year in 2015. The Nigerian became the first African soccer player in Britain’s national soccer league in January, and she won two awards at the country’s Under-20 World Cup. Asisat also helped her national team qualify for this World Cup. She is destined for international greatness.

Clearly, there are many more athletes who could be on this list. Let us know if you know anyone. More Black Woman Power!
