Garlic

Garlic although it has a pungent smell has immense medicinal purposes that were used by the Egyptians and other major ancient civilizations. Garlic protects the body from heavy metal toxicity and is known to reduce oxidative stress level in people that have high blood pressure.

A study conducted over 12 weeks showed that 63% of participants who took garlic and had common cold were relived compared to a placebo. Garlic also increases the body’s antioxidant enzymes, especially for those who are on garlic supplements.
