Today is International Nurses Day, a day set aside to celebrate the honorary and heroic jobs of nurses all over the world. This day, May 12, was chosen because it coincides with the birthday of the founder of modern-day nursing, Florence Nightingale.
2020 was a particularly trying year for all of us but frontline workers like nurses risked their lives daily to make sure the rest of the world was safe.
