A 13-year-old boy described as a talented wrestler fell to his death while he was riding an e-bike on the roof of a parking garage. Per CBS News, the teen, identified as Mark Anthony Giordano, fell five stories after going over a wall.

The fatal Sunday incident is said to have occurred at a garage in Harrison, New York. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) said that Giordano and four other minors were riding on the roof of the garage when he fell five stories and died. The MTA also said the 13-year-old lost control of his e-bike, adding that no foul play is suspected.

Giordano, who attended Louis M. Klein Middle School, was said to be a talented wrestler and a “kid with a golden smile.” His team members also described him as someone who was “always kind, respectful and loving.”

Though the parking garage in question has put out “no bicycle riding” signs on the property, a neighbor identified as Gary Garofalo told CBS News that juveniles usually go to that place to ride their bikes.

“It’s terrible what happened … They all go into the garage, they ride around a little bit, and then they jump in the elevator with their bikes,” Garofalo said. “It’s obvious they’re going to the roof.”

A GoFundMe has since been set up to help raise funds for Giordano’s family. “Mark was just thirteen years old. He was a student athlete at Harrison High School and his promise and ceiling at both Football and Wrestling was limitless,” the fundraiser states.

“He will be missed for the gentle soul and dedicated friend he was to all who he came in contact with in just a short time here. Our goal is to assist his family to put Mark to rest and what ever expenses they will encounter in their time of need.”
