Architecture

The Great Zimbabwe walls from which the country derives its name is situated in Masvingo. Its wonder is that the huge imposing walls and a conical tower are made of granite stacked on granite without the use of mortar. They are estimated to be over 500 years old and are still standing as testament to the genius of the builders.
