The mother of a slain Marine veteran said that one of the suspects linked to her son’s death took to TikTok to share the news of his murder, adding that he was also seen dancing around as hip-hop music played in the background.
Per KPRC, the fatal June 3 incident occurred after the deceased victim, identified as Anthony Sanders, got into an argument with Marko Cinan, 23, and Justin Guzman, 22, at Houston’s Galleria Mall orange garage.
Sanders was with his fiancée and their 10-month-old son when Cinan and Guzman shot him 10 times. The deceased victim’s mother, Ronyel Sanders, also said that her son was fatally shot while she was having a live phone call with him.
The fatal incident occurred after Sanders’ fiancée was allegedly insulted by Cinan and Guzman when they were using an elevator in the shopping mall, the New York Post reported. Sanders and the two men later got into an argument. But when he was driving out of the mall with his fiancée and their 10-month-old son, Guzman is said to have used his vehicle to block Sanders’ car. The two suspects subsequently opened fire on Sanders after he stepped out of his car to register his displeasure over the alleged brake check.

In the aftermath of the fatal incident, Sanders’ mother provided prosecutors with a TikTok video that Guzman shared. In the video, Guzman was seen dancing to hip-hop music as clips of Sanders’ murder were displayed, KPRC reported. The deceased victim’s family ultimately shared that video with authorities.
Cinan and Guzman have since been arrested and charged in connection with Sanders’ murder.
“We’re here today because we just want justice for our son,” Ronyel Sanders said. “Anthony passed away protecting his son and his fiancée. That’s what he does.”
“We are here for justice, just for Anthony, and also just to… just to stand for what he stood for as a person and also to bring awareness to what’s going on in today’s society here in Houston alone,” the deceased victim’s father, Frank Sanders, also said.
