Ga Connection is extremely excited about its upcoming very first health awareness event on Saturday May 30th, 2015 at Weequahic Park in Newark, New Jersey. There has been a great deal of effort put in place to revolutionize the perspectives on our community across USA and the rest of the world. This is one of many projects that is being put in place to promote healthy and wealthy communities.

Ga Connection (GC) is a nonprofit organization established in December 2013 with mission to promote social and cultural education and foster leadership skills and unity within local and global communities. The group has members across multiple states with majority being located in northeast of America. Additional organization leadership and community service information can be found on www.gcglobal.org.

The purpose of this event is to partner with retail pharmacy stores, local healthcare professionals (HCPs) and businesses to bring a wide range of individuals from the community to an event where they can receive vital health awareness tips and screening. In addition to the medical information materials and screening that will be performed, there will be many giveaways during the event coupled with family activities. We expect 450+ people from all walks of life to be present during this event. Additionally, there will be a soccer tournament, which will bring four to six teams of fifteen players in a full 90 minutes competition. Winner will be presented with a trophy and T-shirts. This is the beginning of a community outreach that will impact several people in a positive way.

We need the community at large in order to make this event successful. One can donate, volunteer and/or participate in the screening tests and medical information by calling (732) 895-6934 or email info@gcglobal.org for details.
