Gabonese youth turn attempted coup situation into a comic challenge

After every action, there is definitely a reaction, and this is exactly what is happening in post-coup-attempt Gabon, but in a very hilarious way.

After an unsuccessful coup attempt by some soldiers to topple the government of President Ali Bongo, who is currently in Morocco recovering from a stroke he suffered in October, some Gabonese youth, on a jovial note, are mimicking the television appearance of the three soldiers when they announced the coup early Monday morning.

Holding improvised fake guns and other make-shift “weapons” including frying pans, dumbbells and brooms just to mention a few, some of the enthusiastic youth, mostly in groups of three with one sitting and the other two standing and holding the “weapons” shared photos and videos of their own versions of Monday’s debacle.
