Wallace Peeples (aka Wallo267) is a podcaster, social media influencer, and business mogul. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he was sentenced to prison for armed robbery when he was only 17 years old. He was put behind bars by the State of Pennsylvania.
While in prison, he had a reset of mindset and did not allow being inside to affect his outlook in life. He became an avid reader and devoured his time to continue learning. In addition, he would interview new inmates and question them to gain insight into what life was like on the outside.
He recorded this information in a notebook entitled “The Book of Life.” Following his release from prison after 20 years, he shared interviews with fellow inmates on YouTube and Instagram.
He did not stop there. More than anything, Peeples wanted to be successful. He became a motivational speaker through his Million Dollaz Worth of Games podcast. He co-hosts the podcast with his cousin and has hosted celebrities like Dave Chappelle, Mike Tyson, Snoop Dogg, and many others.
According to GoalCast, his podcast spent more than 16 weeks at number one on Apple’s music podcast charts. This will propel the duo to lucrative deals.
The business partners signed a new contract for Million Dollaz Worth of Games with Barstool Sports, a sports and culture website, AfroTech reported in December 2022. According to the platform, the deal came about two years after the duo first signed with the company for a reported $3 million in exchange for a 50 percent ownership stake.
“I always tell these dudes it costs too much to be a criminal,” Peeples said. “Out of a lot of people, I was one of the people to be able to flip that time. That five minutes that it took me to get all that time, later on in life, we in Philadelphia like probably 20 blocks from here — it’s a restaurant called Devon’s. I went into Devon’s … and it took me less than five minutes to close a multi-million dollar deal.”
“And that was in 2019, six months after we started the podcast,” he continued. “Now, we walked in the [Barstool] office about a couple of months ago and took four minutes to close another deal.”
Although Peeples did not give the amount involved in the new contract, he said it was in the “tens of millions of dollars.”
