Scientists say exposing yourself to sunlight can increase serotonin, a brain chemical that improves mood and helps one to feel calm. While you sit under the sun, you will also be increasing your vitamin D levels. Studies say this should be done first thing in the morning than during the day to boost its effectiveness.
