Though some celebrity couples, who before marriage had considerably well-known relationships – with expectant fans and others desperately waiting for them to announce to the world their immediate plans and when they were going to tie the knot, the eventual news of their union still came as a surprise to many.
Take Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for example. On Monday, the former wrestler and well sought-after actor, out of the blue took to his Instagram page to announce his union with his longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian in Hawaii.
Captioned “We do,” the Hobbs & Shaw star, who is also Hollywood’s highest paid actor shared two photos of the private ceremony which took place on Sunday.

The couple met in 2006 when Johnson was shooting a movie and have two daughters together, according to Independent.
