Tsion Gurmu
The University of Chicago and the New York University School of Law graduate is a legal fellow now employed with the African Services Committee. She provides pro bono legal assistance and support for gay and lesbian individuals living in anti-homosexual environments within their countries. Gurmu also works with AIDS and HIV infected persons.
Gurmu was inspired by the plight experienced by her parents in Ethiopia.
Gurmu was featured under the Forbes law and policy list.
