He has masterfully directed a formidable Ole Miss offense, which not only leads the SEC but also ranks third nationally in both passing and total offense. Furthermore, this high-powered offense is 11th nationally and third in the conference for scoring.
Chambliss’s impressive performance this season includes completing 218 of 333 passes (65.5%) for 3,016 yards, 18 touchdowns, and only three interceptions, resulting in a 157.6 efficiency rating. He also proved effective on the ground, rushing 118 times for 470 yards and six touchdowns.
His season highlights feature five games with at least 300 passing yards and 50 rushing yards. This ties for the second-most by an SEC quarterback since at least 1994, trailing only LSU’s Jayden Daniels, who had six during his 2023 Heisman campaign.
Chambliss is also the first SEC quarterback since 1994 to achieve three consecutive such games.
