Former United States first lady Michelle Obama’s highly anticipated book, “Becoming” will be available on bookshelves come November 13, according to the CEO of Penguin Random House, Markus Dohle.  The book will be printed in 24 languages and will include an audio version, narrated by the BOSS herself.

Mrs Obama also plans to go on a global tour to promote her story. Obama confirmed the speculation herself by stating: “Writing BECOMING has been a deeply personal experience. I talk about my roots and how a girl from the South Side found her voice. I hope my journey inspires readers to find the courage to become whoever they aspire to be. I can’t wait to share my story.”

This will be Obama’s second book, her first being 2012’s “American Grown,” her initiative on promoting healthy eating habits and consuming nutrient-dense foods.

The Obama Foundation alongside publishing powerhouse Penguin Random House will donate one million books to First Book, a cause “promoting equal access to education by providing new books, learning materials, and other essentials to children in need in the U.S. and Canada.” According to the Penguin Random House website.

Obama has left the White House, nevertheless not the limelight;  she last made waves in the news with the unveiling of her and Barack Obama’s portraits which also showcased the first time African-American portrait artists were chosen to paint official portraits.
