Install ceiling fans

Instead of an air-conditioner, go in for the ceiling fan as this will circulate the air in your room and prevent hot air from accumulating at the ceiling. The best way to cut electricity bills with ceiling fans is to turn fans on only when you are home or at the location in which they are installed. Experts say that if you leave a ceiling fan on while you are gone for an extended period of time, it won’t change the temperature of the room but will only waste electricity.
