Nicki Minaj graces Trinidad Carnival for the first time in eight years

The last time we saw multi-platinum selling rapper Nicki Minaj in her home country of Trinidad and Tobago for its popular carnival was in 2012 where she even shot the video for her popular anthem, Pound The Alarm.

Surely missed, the 37-year-old headed back home this week together with her husband to take part in this year’s festivities.

Looking stunning in a purple and silver costume with elaborate feathers, the Yikes rapper joined revelers on the streets of the beautiful Caribbean islands’ capital, Port of Spain, on Tuesday to dance and make merry.

Spotted on a truck with her husband, the Trini girl danced to Soca tunes and socialized with fans and carnival attendees alike.
