Authorities in Miami said a 25-year-old OnlyFans model fatally stabbed her boyfriend during a domestic dispute at their luxury apartment on Sunday evening.

According to New York Post, influencer Courtney Clenney called police to the apartment building after the stabbing. And officers who responded to the scene found 27-year-old Christian Obumseli with a stab wound on the neck. He later succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

In the aftermath of the incident, authorities detained Clenney and later transported her to a mental institution. Police said Obumseli was stabbed during a domestic dispute. “We know that there was a physical altercation between them before he was stabbed,” said a Miami PD spokesperson.

Friends of the couple reportedly told an ABC affiliate that the two usually got into serious arguments. “We’ve seen her hit him,” Ashley Vaughn said. “I’ve never seen him hit her.”

Close friends also said the deceased man had recently moved in with his girlfriend, and the two were staying at the One Paraiso apartment building in Edgewater, Miami. The couple’s neighbors said Clenney and Obumseli usually got into domestic disputes that frequently required local police intervention.

Following the fatal stabbing, Clenney, who goes by the name Courtney Tailor on her social media platforms, threatened to take her own life while she was at the police station, authorities said.

As a result, police said they evaluated her and ultimately placed her under Florida’s Baker Act. The law allows law enforcement, doctors, mental health professionals, and judges to retain individuals for treatment at a mental health facility for up to 72 hours if certain violent or suicidal behaviors are displayed, New York Post reported.

It is yet to be known when Clenney will be discharged from the mental institution. And Clenney, who also has over 2 million followers on Instagram, is currently not facing any charges in connection with her boyfriend’s killing.

Obumseli’s family has since set up a GoFundMe to help raise funds to cover the “postmortem transportation of the body, funeral arrangements, attorney fees, litigation, counseling, and bills for the family” as they seek justice for his death.
