In 2015, singer Rihanna’s anthem was “Bitch Better Have My Money,” but as a mom of two, the focus seems to have shifted to a playful twist: “Babies Better Have My Forehead“, as reported by the New York Post.
Despite the interest that she would be more inclined to pass off her musical genes to her two little ones, Ri-Ri is more concerned about passing on her distinctive forehead legacy to sons RZA and Riot, aged 19 months and 4 months, respectively.
Rihanna, at the relaunch of her Fenty x Puma Creeper sneaker line on Monday, playfully stated to “Access Hollywood” that her only envisioned trait for her son RZA was his forehead. With a laugh, she expressed surprise that Riot doesn’t have it, arguing that, “You can’t lose this thing!”
She admitted that she had no preconceived idea about how family life would be after giving birth to RZA in May 2020. The fashion and beauty mogul, who announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl halftime performance in February, explained that it has been an unpredictable journey.
She said, “I hoped that I can have kids one day … And I hoped that I can be a part of a family that, you know, breaks generational curses and just, like, moves forward and does new things and raises our kids better than we’ve been raised. All the beautiful things.”
“And it’s happening,” she continued. “And I can’t believe it.”
Rihanna added that there has been a shift in her love for A$AP Rocky after he became a father, praising his parenting. The rapper is currently facing legal proceedings for an alleged shooting incident in November 2021, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
“This is major, major. Like, it’s a turn-on. It’s just, like, wow. What a leader. What a great, patient, loving [father],” Rihanna said of A$AP Rocky.
She concluded: “And my kids are obsessed with him. I’m just a background [person]. Like, I’m an extra.”
