Phylicia Rashad
Phylicia Rashad landed a lifetime role that spurred her wide recognition acting as Clair Huxtable on the NBC sitcom The Cosby Show between 1984–92. It earned her Emmy Award nominations in 1985 and 1986. At the time, she was 36 years old.
Rashad became the first black actress to win the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play, in 2004 which she won for her role in the revival of A Raisin in the Sun.
Today she is one of the world’s famous American actress, singer and stage director.
