Bicycle Ambulance

Most people in the rural areas cannot afford a car let alone purchase an ambulance for use, especially when the community hospital is miles away.

Not having access to an ambulance has cost more lives than statistics report, especially in developing countries.

The bicycle ambulance comes as a better alternative given the circumstances at hand, in that if regular ambulances were available, maintenance would have been another hurdle to deal with.

The trailer attached to the bicycle which only requires human pedaling to move, allows for the patient to be transported while lying down as is the best way to move anyone who needs urgent medical attention.

Although it may not be the fasted alternative, a bicycle ambulance can make a six-mile trip in a little over 30 minutes.
