Jay Z shot his brother for stealing
In an interview with U.K’s Guardian, then 12 years old, Jay-Z revealed how he shot his drug-addicted brother for stealing some of his jewelry.
He said of the incident; “I thought my life was over, I thought I’d go to jail forever.” His brother recovered from the shooting and declined to press charges, but for obvious reasons, young Shawn Carter remained shaken.
