Despite her recent arrest in Georgia, Forum officials have told Action News 5 that GloRilla will return home to perform as the main act at her “GloBash” show at the FedExForum on the evening of July 25.
There were fears that the event would be canceled when the Grammy-nominated musician was arrested in Forsyth County, Georgia, on July 22. Deputies were called to her residence to investigate a burglary.
Before law enforcement arrived, investigators said an unidentified individual inside her home shot at three robbers. Although the suspects fled, deputies reported smelling marijuana while responding to the scene and returned with a search warrant.

Investigators claim to have discovered a “significant amount” of the drug at the rapper’s residence.
Although she wasn’t home when the burglary occurred, GloRilla voluntarily turned herself in to Forsyth County authorities on Tuesday after being charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance, according to WSBTV. She was then released on $22,260 bond.
“The homeowner is a victim of a serious crime, and we are committed to bringing the suspects to justice,” Sheriff Ron Freeman told WSB-TV. “At the same time, we must continue to uphold and enforce the law in all aspects of this case.” Police have yet to find any of the three intruders.
The 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Gloria Woods, updated her fans on X, writing, “CRAZY‼️ My House got Home Invaded Saturday While I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA all star game & instead of Focusing on finding the Suspects , they focus on some cannabis
“1. So no I wasn’t busted
“2. My house got robbed
“3. I wasn’t home
“Long story short my house gets home invaded and Im the only one that gets arrested. So that’s tea????????♀️”
GloRilla’s attorneys have called her arrest a “disturbing window into how warped law enforcement priorities have become.”
Her attorneys added, “Ms. Woods is a victim, not a suspect.”

Legal representatives for GloRilla, MarissaGoldberg, and Drew Findling, from the Findling Law Firm, provided the following statement to Action News 5: “The arrest of Gloria Woods is a disturbing window into how warped law enforcement priorities have become. Ms. Woods was out of town when her residence became a target for a group of home invaders who most likely knew she wasn’t there. What they didn’t know was that she had family staying with her that were traumatized by the violent entrance of this group, who grabbed high-value jewelry before taking off once they realized the home wasn’t vacant.”
They continued, “When her family members did the right thing and called law enforcement, instead of investigating the violent home invasion and theft at Ms. Woods’ home, they instead sought a search warrant when they spotted what they believed was a small amount of marijuana. Law enforcement then sought arrest warrants for her even though she hadn’t been at her home for some time. No arrest warrants have been issued for the violent home invaders. Ms. Woods is a victim, not a suspect. This is our tax dollars at work, absolutely unbelievable.”
Meanwhile, fans back home have voiced their excitement for the program.
Memphian Al told Action News 5 that the ‘TGIF’ artist’s arrest was “awful.”
“I was hoping the show would still go on, because they up for it, they ready to come.”
Hoping for the best, he headed downtown on Thursday for the hip-hop artist’s first-ever “GloBash.” He added that, while he likes her music, he hopes the performance would air for the benefit of his children.
“She done brightened the whole city up,” Al remarked.
