Anna Maria Horsford
The legendary Emmy-nominated actress was born in New York to a Dominican father and an Antiguan and Barbudan mother. The 72-year-old has featured in several sitcoms and movies, but she is fondly remembered for her role as Betty Jones, the mother of Craig Jones (Ice Cube) in critically acclaimed 1995 comedy film, Friday.
Other projects Horsford has featured in include The Bold and the Beautiful, The Wayans Bros, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Set It Off, A Madea Christmas, Friday After Next, Our Family Wedding, just to mention a few.
