Wedding receptions can go into the night and while the dance floor would be the first option for any wedding guest who loves to party, the dance floor usually cannot accommodate all the guests.
It will be great to incorporate some fun wedding games to entertain the other guests.
Take a look at some of the games that can bring energy to your wedding reception.
Shoe game
This is a wedding reception favourite where the bride and groom answer questions about their relationship with their shoes. They are seated with their backs facing each other and holding the other spouse’s shoes. The emcee will ask a series of questions and the bride and groom must answer the question by raising a shoe of the person who most fits the description.
Giant Jenga
Jenga is a fun group activity that can help your wedding guests bond while stacking up the bigger version of the regular tabletop game. You can give a little reward at the end for the winner.
Wheel of fun
This wheel, usually custom made, can be mounted throughout the whole reception. Occasionally, the emcee can randomly ask a guest to spin the wheel to reveal their activity and everyone gets to see the perform it. It’s a new twist to the regular truth or dare game we all know.
Photo Booth
Add a spin to the classic photo booth with DIY props like cut-outs of oversized lips, glasses and mustache sticks. You can decide to add customized frames with the wedding hashtag or wedding date.
Bride and Groom Trivia
Leave a small piece of paper with trivia questions pertaining to the couple for the guests to answer on the tables. They are usually more fun with multiple choice type of questions and the emcee can read answers randomly. The one with the most correct answers gets a customized gift from the couple.
