A 60-year-old white man urinated on an unidentified 5-year-old black girl while calling her a racial slur.

The incident took place on August 22 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The sexual offender had been previously jailed for sexual crimes and been committed to a psychiatric ward and diagnosed with schizophrenia. He was also placed on the sex offender’s registry and is reportedly non-compliant, according to The Grio.

The child who was assaulted reiterated the incident to her parents on the evening it happened which was corroborated by three other witnesses who were able to make describe the man.

Charges are pending on the perpetrator.
