A video which surfaced on Facebook of a mother recklessly raising her infant child in one hand while smoking with the other hand has led police to arrest and detain her.

Tybresha Sexton, 24, of Chattanooga in Tennessee, upon streaming the Facebook live video, saw the police visit her Bayberry Apartments Sunday evening after several people alerted them to the video.

According to an officer from the Chattanooga police force, Sexton reeked of alcohol in addition to making incoherent statements. Sexton’s mother has since taken charge of the one-month-old child, according to WTVC.

Alarmed viewers who got prompted about the video on their timelines urged her to stop manhandling the infant as many feared she could kill the baby if she fell from her hand.

According to online arrest records by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Sexton is being held on a $100,000 bond charged with aggravated child abuse.

She is reported to have allegedly told the police she “didn’t want that f—ing baby anyway.”
