The 2011 Nigerian UK Based Achievers Awards was hosted in the
Drum Center, Birmingham United Kingdom by comedian Alariwo Of
Africa.

We caught up with Jazz aka Lanre Aluko-Olokun who gave and
outstanding performance for the night taking home the award for the
best up-coming artist category out of 11 nominees he dedicated
the award to his late dad-living legend Isaac Aluko-Olokun.

Jazz explained that in 2012 his EP 'Mr. Jazz’ (Up Close & Personal)-
with singles such as 'Losing Weight' & 'Damaged' currently rocking the
airways- would be out as well as a new fashion line featuring his 2011 spring/
summer collection.  He has revealed his plans to launch
a new collection in 2012 this collection-under Lorenzo Duffle Bag
designs-promises to be colorful with a touch of glam and
elegance. Lanre loves to make use of African print fabrics (Ankara) and poses
a hand in which he makes them look unique and high fashion everytime.

Personally I adore the the ankara dresses, jackets and accessories
such as belt, bowtie, waist coat just to mention a few. This new
collection is something to watch out for!
