Libya
Ranking 8th in the world, the crises in Libya have weakened one of Africa’s strongest society as well as the government. Since 2011, the country has had to deal with conflicts reducing the rate of security and causing thousands of people to be displaced or seek refuge in other countries. Several also attempt to leave the continent. Increased indiscriminate attacks, localized clashes, extrajudicial killings and arbitrary detentions have left the country as one of the most volatile places in Africa.
