Time‘s annual Person of the Year is a highly anticipated and coveted title. The magazine has released its 2014 Person of the Year issue and we couldn’t be more pleased with its choice.
As a tribute to the men and women who persisted, sacrificed and saved, Time has boldly chosen Ebola fighters as its 2014 Person of the Year.
Explaning why this decision, Editor Nancy Gibbs said: “For tireless acts of courage and mercy, for buying the world time to boost its defenses, for risking, for persisting, for sacrificing and saving, the Ebola fighters are TIME’s 2014 Person of the Year.”
