The 365 AD Crete Earthquake

The 365 Crete earthquake occurred at about sunrise on 21 July 365 in the Eastern Mediterranean, causing destruction in northern Libya, Egypt, central and southern Greece, Cyprus and Sicily, according to geologists.
The massive tsunami that followed the quake destroyed towns and villages across Northern Libya and Alexandria, killing thousands and destroying land and homes.
