You can actually learn Hausa very quickly and easily. It is spoken mainly in northern Nigeria, Niger, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, CAR, Chad, Congo, Eritrea, Germany, Ghana, Sudan, Togo and much of North Africa.

Hausa is one of Nigeria’s official languages, and one of the most spoken Chadic languages on the continent, with over 40 million speakers as both a native and second language.

With Hausa being the most widely spoken language in West Africa, every business person should endeavour to learn the language. The language originated from northern Nigeria and southern Niger and due to trade, it spreads as the lingua franca of western Africa.

Hausa served as the basic language for most Muslim populations in western Africa.

 “Sannu” means hello.
