Fort Monze
Located in Western Monze, Fort Monze is one of the many forts spread across the country that were once used by colonialists as police posts. Inside the structure, there is a graveyard of colonial policemen who were in charge of the fort. The site is classified as a national monument of Zambia. The fort sits on 60 square yards with significantly high, sloping, grass-covered, earthen fortifications, and several huts that served as police cells and living quarters.
